experimenting!

Sooo, I'm taking a drawing class with Reni Gower and for our newest assignment we're using pastels and other media to create images from life. I did these in class and thought they were really cute, so I'm thinking of going with this technique. I drew in white gel pen then colored with the oil pastel and to finish, I used some sumi ink to enclose the objects. Yay!

Here's a page from one of my older sketchbooks that I'm still fond of. I used left over oil paint then went over it with gel pen. Meow Meow!
