Birdzzz.

This piece is a result of my drawing class. It was an open ended project so I decided to just use some techniques from the semester and also experiment a little more. I got a hold of an Audubon birds book and became inspired instantly. I decided to scan and enlarge his bird images and then xerox transfer them into some crazy mass of birds. I did it in another one using a printing press but this one was my acetone, paper towel, hand-done version. Since the birds were so obscure I played around with some inks and made cool designs around the shapes. It was tons of funnnn!

B-Boy! (version2)

This was taken from my original B-Boy digital work from earlier on. I'm really attracted to his dynamic pose, so I just wanted to work on it with traditional media and sorta play around.

I started by xerox transferring the original, but only very lightly for good texture, then I just used the natural color of the paper for his body and painted white around it. I'm pretty happy with my results :)

Hope ya'll like!

Thanks,
Sibi
